Jessica Harrington will think about a comeback run over hurdles for her Cheltenham Gold Cup hero Sizing John.
The nine-year-old finished the riband at Cheltenham , the uncommon treble of the Gold Cup at Leopardstown and the Punchestown Gold Cup in the first half of 2017.
Though he created a flying start to the campaign from the John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase, he disappointed at Leopardstown over the Christmas time and injuries have kept him off the trail ever since.
Harrington reports Sizing John in health at the moment of preparation too far ahead while unsurprisingly careful.
Sizing John is great. He is hacking away and I thought he had tightened up a great bit, explained the Moone handler.
Weve not made any plans, but we could do anything like that (run over hurdles) as he has been off the track for almost two years.
He seems well and and so is proceeding great
The other Hunt star of harrington is your Supasundae.
After defending his crown in the Punchestown Champion Hurdle before rounding off his campaign with a runner-up ending behind Buveur DAir the consistent gelding claimed his victory in last seasons Aintree Hurdle at Grade One level.
Supasundae is grand and doing his usual thing it always takes a long time to get him ready, Harrington added.
He might go to the Hattons Grace at Fairyhouse in early December, or we might even wait until Christmas.
We all know he is a fantastic spring horse.
